My Mom and Dad named me Zara River because it’s unique and unforgettable.  

ZARA

My first name was inspired by Zara Phillips, granddaughter of the former Queen of England.  Zara means princess and light.

RIVER

My parents love rivers. Dad asked Mom to marry him while standing in a river.  They've waded and floated many a river in search of trophy trout.  All of these experiences are forever part of who they are. By giving me the name - Zara River - they hope I’ll love and appreciate nature and adventure too.

Now, I’m off to make a lifetime of memories!
